I missed last week's Share a Thrift Hunt. I was in a mad rush to finish my jewelries in time for display on Friday last week.

I am not as busy this week, so I am joining all the memes I can join. LOL! I even have time to read about hgh releasers, can you believe that?

What I am sharing today is really not a bargain. We got it for free when we stayed in Knai Bang Chatt Hotel last year.

It's a Kroma or a Khmer Scarf. I don't know how much it is in the market but getting it for free was awesome, like a bargain in itself. LOL!

Aren't they all pretty? I like the Wiggle Stool but I am afraid my son will destroy it in one second the minute it reaches our home.

But we would definitely have a beautiful bar stool by our mini bar in our dream house. It's only a matter of time. Probably 10 years from now? LOL!

When travelling don't forget your Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Advantage. It's always handy to have health insurance wherever you go.

This year, we can afford two more out of the country trips. I've penned down Philippines for June/July. The other out of the country trip I I am still not sure. Initially I wanted Japan. And then the earthquake and tsunami happened. So it's out of the question for now. Maybe next year, we'll see.

And another diet

I am planning to go back to South Beach Diet. But I hear there's a new diet craze about to hit the US.

It's called Dukan Diet, Europe’s most popular diet book and the latest carnivorous weight-loss plan. I read from Yahoo that it's also the diet used by Kate Middleton's family and herself as well.

Sounds intriguing!

I will definitely read more about it because I need to lose at least 15 pounds as soon as possible. I want to be able to fit in the dereon clothing I purchased just recently.

And I just hate, okay, cross that out, don't like what I see in the mirror. I am getting rounder and rounder again.

Food is really bestfriend and my best enemy. Why can't they co-exist harmoniously in my body? Why do they always have to fight?!

In the mean time, I am drinking lots of green tea.

I'll be serious with my diet again next week. So help me God.

These two (above), I am pretty sure my husband can pull off. It's relaxed and cute. Heck, I would love to wear like this too. LOL!

This one, I can also convince hubby to wear.

But this one? The word gayish would appear again. Sigh.

I don't think he'd wear like this too.

But if I were a man, I'd wear all of the above. Hahahaha!!!

Share a Thrift Hunt: Georgette

Hi Thrift Hunters! Another week of thrift finds for us. Yay! What have you got?

This week I am sharing something I bought several months ago at our local favorite thrift store - JTS, short for Japanese Thrift Store. But I heard from my friend, they changed their name though.

Beautiful georgette blouse for only....I can't remember the exact amount but I am pretty sure it's not more than $1.50.

I love the color and the drape of this blouse. The sleeves are long but as usual, I fold it to give it a relaxed feel. I am not working in the office after all.

I usually pair this with my distressed boyfriend jeans or sometimes with my shorts. I feel pretty with this blouse. LOL!

++ Nope. I only take something for my migraine and thank god it doesn't happen that often.

++ Over achiever. People mistake it as something too negative.

++ Yes. Way back in elementary and high school days. Blurry details now.

4. Who is the last person to make you smile? What was happening?
++ My son. He says the darndest things.

5. Describe a time when you should have tried harder.
++ Maybe tried harder when it comes to getting fit. I always stop just when I am close to reaching my goal.

6. What are you best at?
++ motor home repair? Just kidding. I think I am best at organizing, like organizing our things at home, our travels, our plans, etc.

7. If someone was going to make a movie or TV show about your life, who would play you and why?
++ Never thought about it. Hmmm..maybe..don't know really.

8. Name 3 things that you think are strange.
++ Nothing seems strange anymore.

9. What is one lesson you have learned in the past 12 months?
++ Never trust skinny people. LOL!

Ipad 2

I hate Apple. Why? Because I haven't even bought the "old" iPad and now it's obsolete.

Just kidding.

I have an iPhone4 and I love it to bits. I am sure having an iPad is cooler. No, make that having an iPad 2 is way cooler.

I've checked Apple's website and got all these pictures and feature details.

It is thinner and lighter. Thinner than iPhone4!

It has two cameras, one on front and one at the back.

iPad smart cover. So many different colors to choose from. And it doesn't add bulk to iPad's thin design.

LED backlighting makes everything you see crisp and vivid.

Gyro, accelerometer and compass. I love this feature on my iPhone4 too especially when I am playing games.

Hmm..what else? It has dual Core A-5 chip which makes everything faster. And this is the most important feature, I think.

So will I buy an iPad 2 now? Yes. I only have one little problem. I have no budget for it. LOL!

Zara: Woman Lookbook March

Love this but no heels for me

When I was in Kuala Lumpur last week, the first store I visited was Zara. I bought a dress, and two tops. I meant to go back and buy a jeans or pants but we did not have enough time. Sigh.

Blue and Purple

Every project I make, I feel like it is the best ever. Until I make another one which I feel is the best ever. LOL!

I am currently trying gem and color combination to see which gem goes with which gem or which color goes best with it.

My latest work is a result of that experiment and I feel like it is one of the best gem combination. I am so proud of this. But my husband disagrees. Then again, what does he know about it, right? LOL!

Share a Thrift Hunt: Yellow flat shoes

I missed last week's meme because I was busy having a grand time in Kuala Lumpur. Opps, did I say that? Sorry, it just slipped off my tongue. LOL!

Anyway, here's my entry for this week - a yellow flat shoes.

I bought this while we were in KL. And I wore it right away. Hahaha. I love how comfy it is and I love that it brightens up my wardrobe and my mood.

Original price was 49 Malaysian Ringgit. But since I was a tourist I got a discount of 10%. So I only paid 44.10RM or about $14.20. I thought it's a steal and a fab find. Branded ones would cost me probably 10 times more.

I should have bought two pairs but in different colors. There was a hot pink one but I did not buy it. Tsk.
