Dresses from ZARA's New Collection

I wish there was ZARA here in Phnom Penh. Admittedly, I love ZARA more than Mango. Their dresses suit me well.

Today, I checked their website and found myself lusting over these dresses from their New Collection.

They have more but I only chose five of the dresses that I like and can wear.

Sigh. I wish someone would bring ZARA here in Phnom Penh.

Mango Pre-Fall Lookbook

I just found out yesterday that when Mango goes on sale, it is worldwide. At least that's what Mango staff here in Phnom Penh told me yesterday.

I had some great scores three days ago and I went back yesterday to buy another trousers.

The staff told me that their New Collection will arrive first week of August. Because I have no patience, I checked Mango on my iPhone and saw their Pre-Fall Lookbook.

Here are some pictures:

I love the jackets and the trenchcoat. I love the blue shoulder bag too.

What do you think of their pre-fall collection?

Kiehl's Lip Balm

We do live in a very convenient world now, don't we?

Forgot to buy something but already in the plane? Worry not, you can still shop right on the plane! Have you tried it?

I have bought items several times on the plane. The first one was the neck pillow and die cast airplanes for my son. I'd be buying stadiometer next. Hahaha. Probably.

My latest purchase from the plane is the Kiehl's Lip Balm.

I have been meaning to buy this for the longest time now after I have read good reviews about it. But I just have never came across it in supermarkets or beauty shops. Or maybe because I haven't really looked that hard. I am not really that concerned about beauty products in the first place.

Anyway, I saw this on a flight from Manila to Bangkok (or was it Bangkok to Phnom Penh?) and bought this immediately.

I should have bought two because I am loving this. My lips feel softer and looks healthier.

I have never been a lipstick person and scented lip balm or lip gloss don't really work well with me.

I am glad I bought this. I think this will be a product I am going to use for a long time.

Travel Easy

..and comfortable with a trusty Samsonite Luggage.

On our recent travel to Philippines, we bought another luggage because we have unknowingly bought more stuff that will fit in our two luggages.

Because our two Samsonite luggages have more than proven themselves, we bought our third Samsonite bag.

This is what we got, Samsonite F'Lite GT 31" Hardside Wheeled Luggage

We had no choice then but to buy a luggage. But if I had checked online beforehand, I would have gotten this at a discount price.

Oh well. If you want to save, check out the discount prices on wheeled carry-on luggage from top brands. You could get discounts from 10-20%.

Kobe, number 1 no more

Came across an article from Yahoo Sports that says Kobe is no longer America's most popular athlete.

Kobe is one of my favorite athlete. The other one is Michael Jordan. Guess what's my favorite sports? Hahaha!!!

Coincidentaly both Kobe and Michael Jordan are tied at number three spot for most popular athlete. Hmm...interesting.

Here's the complete list:

Male

1. Derek Jeter
2. Peyton Manning
3. (tie) Kobe Bryant
3. (tie) Michael Jordan
5. Tiger Woods
6. Tom Brady
7. (tie) Albert Pujols
7. (tie) Hines Ward
9. Derrick Rose
10. Aaron Rodgers

Female

1. Serena Williams
2. Venus Williams
3. Danica Patrick
4. Maria Sharapova
5. Mia Hamm
6. Anna Kournikova
7. (tie) Martina Navratilova
7. (tie) Sue Bird
9. (tie) Kerry Walsh
9. (tie) Michele Wie

Of the male athletes listed, I am only familiar with three players.

Of the female athletes, I am only familiar with girls who play tennis. Not surprising because tennis is my second fave sports.

Is your favorite player in the list?

Our local food - Madrid, Surigao del Sur

After indulging in these below posted pictures, I am now actively looking for diet pills that work.

In just a week's time in my hometown - Madrid, Surigao del Sur, I have gained more than 2 kgs already. It's not funny right? But I also could not resist these oh so yummy to the tummy goodness. It's rare that I get to enjoy these foods.

Kinilaw na Nukos - it's a fresh, raw squid mixed with vinegar/lime, salt, onion, ginger and chili. It's like the national food in our place. Or something like that. This is really goooood.

Sinugba na Bangus - Grilled Milkfish. I love this dipped in a soysauce with kalamansi or lime with chili. My mouth is watering now...

And for dessert, there's the usual fruits, puto and biko.

With food like this everyday, it's no wonder I gained 2kgs in a week's time.

But I am determined to lose all this weight when I am back in Cambodia.

Home in my mind

After engaging in a house renovation project in the province, I am inspired now more than ever to build a house of our own.

I have been planning and designing an imaginary house in my mind. It's actually fun and exciting. LOL!

I have been surfing for inspirations on the net. I am mostly interested in kitchen because I love to cook and of course I love to eat.

Here's one picture I found from Martha Stewart's site.

It's so clean, sunny and colorful. I just love the colors. I don't know why but it somehow reminds me of the Spectrum Auto Repair shop I have seen before somewhere in SOMA district.

I talked to my husband and I was surprised to find out he's also thinking the same thing I do.

I am hoping, praying and saving for our future house. I am excited.

Sale, Extensions, Etc

Hola amigas!

I am here in Cebu City. Arrived here yesterday with my family. It was a tiring trip because the flight was delayed by a few hours.

But that did not stop us from going around the mall. Mall rats, we are. LOL!

If you are in Cebu, please be informed that Mango is on sale. I stopped by for a quick look and ended up with two items on a plastic bag.

I am planning to go there again tonight. I am sure, I'd be able to score more great deals.

~~~
Anyway, after being away for several days from Facebook, I am back online again. I have posted photos and updated myself with my friend's wall posts. I chatted with a friend in the US too and she mentioned she's happy about the irs extension 2010. I have a no knowledge about it but she really seemed happy so I was happy for her. LOL! If you're in the US, do check it out. It might be something you'd be happy about too.
~~~

We are going to go have lechon dinner tonight at CnT. I heard it has the best lechon in town if not the whole Philippines. It's just walking distance from Radisson Blu, where we are staying. I am so looking forward to this dinner. I hope we will not be disappointed.

Update from moi

Hey guys. Sorry for the lack of posts. Where I'm at, the internet connection is as reliable as the weather forecast here =)

What we got plenty of are the Surprise Birthday Invitations. People here do know how to party! Seriously.

Today, I am able to go online because I am in the city. We are flying to another city today. It so happens the flight is delayed for 2 hours so I have got plenty of time to play.

I am sorting out my emails from the junk and it's such a difficult task right now. I haven't been online for just over a week and the amount of junk I got is unbelievable. Sigh.

Anyway, that's it for now.

I will try to update my blogs when I get back to the big city. That's in three more days.

Ciao for now!

In Manila now

Hi! We arrived in Manila last night at around 8pm. It was a long trip from Cambodia as we left our house there at 8am! So it was like a 12hour-trip from one house to another house in a different country. LOL!

I was exhausted. But I guess not exhausted enough because we still went out of our hotel to have a late dinner. Guess where we ended? At McDo! Hahahaha!!!

Today, I woke up early. I wanted to wake up later but I guess my body is already used to waking up so early wherever I am in the world.

Anyway, it's going to be a long day today. There's just so much to shop. LOL!

Seriously, I want to buy now all the things I want to bring to Cambodia so I won't forget it at the last minute. Last time, I almost forgot to buy the designer eyeglasses my friend asked me to buy for her. If my husband wasn't trying on glasses at that time, I would have totally forgotten to buy it for her. To think, I was also planning to buy a designer eyeglasses for my pretty eyes too. Hahaha.

My memory cannot save me anymore. I guess getting old has something to do with it. Sigh. LOL!

So yeah, we will be shopping today. I don't have a long list so it's going to be a breeze. And later on, we will meet my family for dinner. Now, that's exciting. I can't wait to meet my beautiful nieces. Three of them.

Just one last thing, Novak Djokovic won last night. He is through to the finals. And he is the world number 1 now. Woohoooo!
