Proenza Schouler: Keep All or Satchel

I am thinking I am done with bags in monogram. Well, at least for now.

Because right now, I am loving clean leather bags like these two from Proenza Schouler.

Proenza Schouler PS1 Medium Leather Satchel

Proenza Schouler PS1 Keep All Large Leather Bag

I think my next bag splurge will be one of the above. What do you think? A Satchel or a Keep All?

I can't decide myself. If I have endless stash of money, I'd buy both.

Katie Holmes in a menswear inspired ensemble

I don't know what stylists say but I am loving Katie Holmes wardrobe choices. And I love the person too. Probably still a hangover from her Dawson Creek days but whatever.

I saw this picture from omg yahoo. Katie Holmes wearing a navy MaxMara pantsuit:

I just love it. It's my style. Of course I won't look the same way she does if I wear it but I just love it. It's perfect for her.

Dream beach destination: El Nido Palawan

I am from the Philippines but unfortunately there are still places I haven't been to. And one of them is actually my dream beach destination, El Nido Palawan.

I have heard so many great things about this place. I have also seen pictures from my friend who had their honeymoon here. Their pictures were amazing. The place looked amazing.

I promised myself I would go here one day. But since that promise, I still haven't visited this magnificent place.

I will visit. I just don't know when.

Take a look at the pictures I swiped from elnidoresorts.com

Isn't this beautiful? If money (and time) is not a problem, I will drag my husband and son to Palawan. Like right now.

Rockin Platform

If I could wear heels, I would wear this.

Rockin Platform by Jeffrey Campbell. Photo from needsupply.com

I haven't visited needsupply for a while. And now that I have, I am inlove with the site again.

I saw several dresses and tops I like. I'd probably try online shopping with them today.

What do you think of the shoes?

Heard in the fastfood resto

We were in a fastfood restaurant today for lunch. As usual it was full. There were a lot of families with small kids. After all it's Saturday, family day. But there were also young couples and a few backpackers type.

I went directly to the counter to place our order while my husband and son went to look for a vacant spot. After about two minutes they finally sat on a just vacated seat near the AC. Perfect!

It took me a good while to bring our food to the table. The queue was also long and the cashier was new and was easily frazzled. She mixed up my orders. I had to correct her several times.

Anyway, when I was on the way to our table I saw my husband covering my son's ears. Hmmm..I wondered why.

Before I could say anything, hubby said in our local dialect "I had to cover his ears because these two kids (actually guys in early twenties, I guess) beside our table are talking about how to get laid tonight. We heard every word they said and it was getting specific."

Uh oh.

I would have done the same as my husband did. Our son has a tendency to ask (in a loud voice) when he encounters or hears things he does not understand. Big trouble, indeed.

Thankfully, the two guys, probably backpackers were leaving as I sat down. If they weren't on the way out, I would have asked them to lower their voices. There were small kids everywhere.

I was not pissed. I was actually amused with their discussion. Kids. What do they know. Hahahaha!!!

Thinking of changing layouts again

How do you like my new theme? I just got it from blogger. LOL!

I was tired with my last layout. I wanted to change it into something professional looking. But I just can't. I can't afford yet to hire someone. And second, I can't do it on my own.

If I have taken any of those information technology degrees, I'd probably never have a hard time with codes, html and the like.

But then again, I'd probably never pass any course. LOL!

When I was in college, I dreamed of becoming a CPA lawyer. It means I have to pass an accountant's board exam and a lawyer's board exam. It sounded simple. But getting to pass a single accountancy subject was already hard for me. LOL! Much less pass two board examinations. Hahahaha!!

So I just stuck with my hotel and restaurant administration course. And well, I think I made the right choice.

Anyway, I will try to learn simple codes and htmls so I can apply it to all my blogs.

Angie + LV

Okay, before I go look for wrestling singlets, let me post a photo of Angelina Jolie and the LV ad campaign.

Angie posing in Siem Reap Cambodia, birth country of her son Maddox

This photo created a buzz because they say Angie was not wearing any make up at all. And she's wearing her own clothes and the six years old LV bag is her own too.

Whatever the truth is (with make up or none) she looks great here like she always do. And the photo is so dreamy, it appears like a painting. I love it.

And I love the bag too. Unfortunately the bag is not available in the stores anymore. But LV said they might bring some back.

Ohhhh! Drooling now. I hope I'd be able to get one.

Just being

People change. Thin ones become fat. Fat ones become skinny. Rich becomes poor. Stunning becomes granny-looking.

I told hubby that life is just one choice after another. Gotta make the "best" decision everytime. One bad decision does not make life miserable though. You gotta know how to bounce back after that.

Hubby was reading about MegaMeeting video conferencing software so he wasn't really hearing me well. He said, what did you say?

Hahahaha!!! And there goes my profound moment.

Seriously, life is making choices, unending choices. There are battles but there are also fun times. We just have to ride both tides.

Oh! Wednesday is such a philisophical day for me. LOL!

Gotta go and workout already.

Home with parking for 100 cars

Parking for 100 cars? Check! Bowling Alley? Check! Beauty Salon? Check! Giftwrapping room? Check! $150M? Check!

"The Manor" which was built by the late TV Magnate, Aaron Spelling is slated for sale to Ms. Petra Ecclestone, 22, racing heiress.

Wow! I couldn't even begin to imagine a $1 Million house. What more a $150M house?

Hairstyle choices

The last time I had my hair cut (about a year ago), which was really short, I promised myself I would grow my hair long after.

Fast forward to now, my hair is past my shoulders. It's not that long yet but I can tie it up already. The problem is I am getting tired of having it in a pony tail. When I let my hair down, I get irritated because it makes me feel hot (the weather is hot of course) and it's like I have bad hair days all the time.

I have three solutions. I could have a hair rebond, have a bangs (but still rebonded) or sport a short hair again.

I couldn't decide. All photos are from instyle.com

Pixie cut

What hair are you sporting this time?

It's almost Father's Day

Hey you guys. Do you have presents for your father, husband, grandfather this coming Father's Day already? If you still haven't, welcome to the club! LOL!

I still don't have any idea what to give my husband. I am thinking something cool and awesome. After all he is one cool and awesome dad to our son.

So before I totally forget Father's Day, I already checked online what I could give my husband. I stumbled upon Cafe Press and found some funny t shirts which I think my husband would like. And it's not gonna break my wallet.

They also have iPhone 4 cases which I think my husband will also love. He only has one working case for his iPhone 4 so I think he will appreciate this gift. And the message is cool too.

This message made me laugh. LOL!

If you got interested and want to know more info about Cafe Press, you can visit CafePress FAQ.

Shop now before you forget the big day. I will after I finish this post.

Push the body to get the result you want

I did the exercise I posted earlier here today. And it was intense. I felt like I was being punished. LOL!

I woke up today with heavy legs and sore muscles in the arms. I wonder how can I go on with my to-do lists today. I need to go to the the pro to have document scanning done properly. My printer/scanner is not doing its job well.

Anyways, I am going to do another intense exercise today. Masochist much? Hahahaha. To be honest, I kinda like doing this exercises now. And I read that you only get results if you push your body. Staying in the comfort zone will not do the trick. So okay, bring it on.

I am really looking forward to have toned legs and stronger arms, like Michele Obama. Hehehe.

Let's see.

Fish and Bowl

My husband's latest obsession is aquarium and fishes. He wanted to have a big aquarium but I objected because the one we saw just just hideous. So I consented to buying a small bowl.

Then I saw this one at thisnext.com

Wall Mounted Fish Bowl

This is perfect. We could buy three and line it up in our living room or our bedroom.

I hope we could find something like this here.

Workout at Home

I just had a great 45-minute workout this morning at home. I feel so energized after. But I have been doing the same routine for a week now, it's getting boring. I want to change my routine so I won't stop exercising.

Here's what I found from womenshealthmag.com. Eight workouts that can be done at home. I am definitely going to try this tomorrow. I am excited.

~~~
Here's the full workout:
1. Forward Lunge
Superset One
Stand with your feet hip-width apart and your hands on your hips. Step forward with your right leg and slowly lower your body until your right knee is bent at least 90 degrees. Push back to the starting position and repeat with your left leg. That's one rep.
2. Squat Jump
Superset One
Stand with your feet hip-width apart, toes forward; lightly touch your fingers behind your ears and extend your elbows to the sides. Bend your knees, then explosively jump as high as you can. Land softly on the balls of your feet and immediately lower into your next squat.
3. Push Up
Superset Two
Get into a pushup position with your feet hip-width apart and your hands slightly outside your shoulders. Your body should form a straight line from head to heels. Lower your body until your chest nearly touches the floor. Pause, then push back to the starting position as quickly as possible. That's one rep.
4. Bend and Thrust
Superset Two
With your arms at your sides, stand with your feet hip-width apart. In one motion, bend your knees and place your hands on the floor on either side of your legs, then jump both feet back so you're in a pushup position with your back straight. Quickly reverse the motion to return to start. That's one rep.
5. Plie Squat
Superset Three
Stand with your legs two to three feet apart, toes turned out; place your hands on your hips. Push your hips back and lower your body until your thighs are parallel to the floor. Pause, then slowly push yourself back to the starting position. That's one rep.
6. Jumping Jacks
Superset Three
Stand with your feet a few inches apart and your arms at your sides, then simultaneously raise your arms out to the sides and over your head, and jump your feet out so they are slightly more than shoulder-width apart. Without pausing, quickly reverse the movement. Repeat.
7. T Stabilization
Superset Four
Start in a pushup position with your body in a straight line from your head to your heels. Keeping your arms straight and core engaged, shift your weight onto your left arm, rotate your torso to the right, and raise your right arm toward the ceiling so that your body forms a T; your right foot should now be on top of your left. Pause for three seconds, then return to the starting position and repeat on the other side. That's one rep.
8. Seated Rotation
Superset Four
Sit on the floor with your legs in front of you, knees bent, and heels lifted a few inches into the air; lean back at a 45-degree angle and extend your arms straight in front of your chest, palms together. Slowly rotate your torso to the right, pause, then rotate to the left. Continue alternating.
~~~

Hopefully, I'd see results after two weeks.
