Saturday 9: St. Patrick's Day

1. St. Patrick's Day is March 17th (Thursday). Do you celebrate and wear green? Drink Green Beer? Ignore it?
++ Nope.

2. If a leprechaun told you that you could have any amount of money from his pot of gold but it had to be a specified amount for a specified item, how much would you ask for and what would it be for?
++ $2M to travel around the world

3. One of the symbols of St. Patrick's Day is the leprechaun. Name a celebrity that you think would look good as a leprechaun. Name a celebrity that would look ridiculous as a leprechaun. Is there any one celebrity that would make a really scary leprechaun?
++ Sorry, can't think of any.

4. For a prize of $1,000,000,000 you are challenged to make yourself a costume for a St. Patricks Day party. The ONLY rules are that you aren't allow to use clothing and it has to be green. Using anything other than clothing, describe your costume to us using ANYTHING else in the house.

Color is life. I can't imagine my life with just black, gray and white. Color is everything to me, especially in fashion.

These two (above), I am pretty sure my husband can pull off. It's relaxed and cute. Heck, I would love to wear like this too. LOL!

This one, I can also convince hubby to wear.

But this one? The word gayish would appear again. Sigh.

I don't think he'd wear like this too.

But if I were a man, I'd wear all of the above. Hahahaha!!!

Share a Thrift Hunt: Georgette

Hi Thrift Hunters! Another week of thrift finds for us. Yay! What have you got?

This week I am sharing something I bought several months ago at our local favorite thrift store - JTS, short for Japanese Thrift Store. But I heard from my friend, they changed their name though.

Beautiful georgette blouse for only....I can't remember the exact amount but I am pretty sure it's not more than $1.50.

I love the color and the drape of this blouse. The sleeves are long but as usual, I fold it to give it a relaxed feel. I am not working in the office after all.

I usually pair this with my distressed boyfriend jeans or sometimes with my shorts. I feel pretty with this blouse. LOL!

Saturday 9: Medicate

1. Do you take a lot of medication?
++ Nope. I only take something for my migraine and thank god it doesn't happen that often.

2. Name one of your flaws and tell us about it.
++ Over achiever. People mistake it as something too negative.

3. Have you ever won first place? If yes, tell us about your victory!
++ Yes. Way back in elementary and high school days. Blurry details now.

4. Who is the last person to make you smile? What was happening?
++ My son. He says the darndest things.

5. Describe a time when you should have tried harder.
++ Maybe tried harder when it comes to getting fit. I always stop just when I am close to reaching my goal.

6. What are you best at?
++ motor home repair? Just kidding. I think I am best at organizing, like organizing our things at home, our travels, our plans, etc.

7. If someone was going to make a movie or TV show about your life, who would play you and why?
++ Never thought about it. Hmmm..maybe..don't know really.

8. Name 3 things that you think are strange.
++ Nothing seems strange anymore.

9. What is one lesson you have learned in the past 12 months?
++ Never trust skinny people. LOL!
